“Marsh Madness” spoonbill, heron, crane coastal painting

“Marsh Madness” is a large triptych coastal painting with a menagerie of coastal birds. The three stars of this original work of art are the Roseate Spoonbill, the Sandhill Crane and the Great Blue Heron. Look closely though to find a yellow crowned night heron, clapper rails, a tricolored heron, a least bittern, a colorful purple gallinule, a frog and a checkered white butterfly. These gorgeous birds are surrounded by swamp mallow hibiscus, various palms, honeysuckle vines and Spanish moss.

Each panel is filled with color and detail that you will appreciate year after year. This unframed triptych measures 54″ tall on all 3 panels. The end panels are 24″ wide and the center panel is 36″ wide. There is ample room for stretching and framing beyond these dimensions. Acrylic on canvas, the 3 together span a width of 84″. The artist recommends about 2 inches between each panel and a float frame in a finish of your choice!
